I am Heartin Jacob Kanikathottu, an internationally published author, a software architect, and a catechism teacher at St. Mary's Church Basavanagar, Bangalore. I was born into a catholic family that was religious but not orthodox. I was taught to respect all religions. I believe a Christian is someone who follows Christ. But can you follow someone whom you don't know? I think the best way to know Christ and his Church is to learn and understand the Holy Bible and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. This website is my humble effort to learn more about Bible and CCC along with like-minded Christians.

We follow the NRSV Catholic Edition Bible
We follow the New Revised Standard Version (NRSV) Catholic Edition Bible for our studies. The different versions of the Bible include English Standard Version, King James Version, New American Standard Bible, New English Bible, New International Version, New King James Version, New Living Translation, New Revised Standard Version, Tyndale, etc.

While the Pandemic was all around and kids were not able to go to catechism or even Church, one good thing happened. All the catechism classes were recorded in very good quality. I was also lucky to take two classes on the topic Word of God. Learning and sharing the Word of God is my passion and God chooses me to take classes on the same.
